If you believe that free speech and political action within the bounds of the law are pointless, and
If you believe that your political opponents are not just wrong, but your enemies, and
If you believe there is a dark conspiracy of oppressors that are the source of all inequality and injustice, and
If you believe guilt and innocence are assigned by group membership and not individual responsibility, and
If you do not believe all people are made in God's image, and
If you do not believe that "You shall not murder" is a moral absolute, and
If you believe that revolutionary change must come "by any means necessary,"
Then, you will support or tolerate political assassinations and other forms of political violence for your cause.
Then, you will celebrate this political violence and foment more of the same.
Note: I am not claiming all on the left hold all these views. But too many do hold these views, which explains much of what we are seeing in our midst.
